CV in a Click
Template-based resume builder with PDF export
CV in a Click — CV na Klik in Slovak — helps people create a polished resume in minutes. Pick a template, add your experience, and watch the A4 preview update as you write. Try it without an account; sign in with Google to save and download your PDF.
01Challenge
Writing a resume is stressful enough without fighting a layout tool. People need to see how their content will look on the page while they write, switch styles without losing work, and try the editor before signing in to save and download a clean PDF.
02Approach
- Split the editor into guided core sections with a live A4 preview beside them.
- Keep content separate from presentation so templates, colours, and density can change without losing a word.
- Let users try the editor without an account, then sign in with Google for encrypted saving, syncing across devices, and PDF downloads.
- Support additional sections such as projects, certifications, languages, and driving licences, plus section reordering.
03Quality
- Responsive light and dark interfaces with a built-in language switcher.
- Print-ready A4 layouts exported through the browser's print engine.
- JSON backup and import so users always keep a copy of their work.
04Outcome
A live, bilingual resume builder at cvcko.bwrd.eu that takes users from template choice to a finished PDF in one focused flow, with a redesigned homepage in English and Slovak.
