01

Problem

The product challenge

Competitive communities need one reliable workflow for formats that behave very differently, from elimination brackets to battle-royale group stages. The product also has to serve players, organizers, and administrators across multiple regions and languages.

02

Decisions

How I approached it

  • Model four tournament formats while keeping the participant experience consistent.
  • Separate public competition flows from the administration tools used to operate events.
  • Use real-time notifications to keep match and team activity visible without manual refreshes.
  • Build localization into the product so one platform can support international communities.

03

Quality

Quality and delivery

  • Responsive layouts for player and administrator workflows.
  • Explicit match, tournament, and registration states beyond the ideal path.
  • A professional testing mindset applied to multi-step flows and role-based behavior.

04 / Outcome

What the work delivered.

The platform is live across four regions, has more than 1,300 registered users, and has supported more than 15 organized tournaments.
